Lenten and Advent Midweek services 7pm Wednesdays
During the Lenten season (Ash Wednesday to Easter) and during the Advent season the month prior to Christmas) we have midweek services at 7pm. During the Lenten season we also have a Fellowship potluck Soup Supper at 6pm, just before the service. All are welcome.
As a Lutheran church, we believe that the Lord's Supper is the Real Presence of Christ. His true body and blood are offered "in, with and under" the bread and wine. When these are received in faith we receive both the forgiveness of sins and the strengthening of our faith (1 Corinthians 11:10).
If this is your confession you are welcomed to receive communion. If you belong to Christian denomination with a different confession we invite you to join us at the Lord's Table with crossed arms and receive a blessing as part of the body of believers and our unity in Christ.
For those desiring non-alcoholic wine, a white wine is located in the center of the tray.
