For God So Loved the World by Rich Rodriguez

Return to Articles main page

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16, NIV)

The above Bible verse is the best known in the world, by Christians and non-Christians alike. It has been translated into several languages below, with links to their respective online Bibles. They represent most of the native languages spoken by the members of our church family. It testifes that in sending Jesus to die for our sins, God truly does love all the people inside the world, as the Hawaii Pidgin translation says.

Hawaii Pidgin: "God wen get so plenny love an aloha fo da peopo inside da world, dat he wen send me, his one an ony Boy, so dat everybody dat trus me no get cut off from God, but get da real kine life dat stay to da max foeva."

Hawaiian: No ka mea, ua aloha nui mai ke Akua i ko ke ao nei, nolaila, ua haawi mai oia i kana Keiki hiwahiwa, i ole e make ka mea manaoio ia ia, aka, e loaa ia ia ke ola mau loa.
